Ushering into the new year with a brand new look. And I hope you are loving it as much as I do.
The main photo on this site is taken during my trip in Cambodia, before the kids came along. Really miss those backpacking days, but I'm also grateful for what I have today.
When I first set my heart to start this business, I knew nothing about doing business or creating a website or even accounting. It was purely on the job training, and it wasn't easy. Having a passion for books and reading is just not enough.
With also more booksellers in the market, there's just no room for complacency.
Spoiler alert, we are working on a brand new website which will be unveiled in mid 2021. Hopefully sooner, but I'm giving myself more runway knowing the commitments I have on my plate. So yes, this is not the final look for Natventure Books, just the best I could do while working past midnight after the kids have gone to bed.
I am excited for 2021. A new site, a new direction, and many more collaborations I believe.
Re-reading Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers again, I'm once again reminded of the 10,000-hour rule. Although I'm not trying to become an expert writer, I do hope to clock in more practice hours to become a better writer. Hence, the birth of this space and the segment on book reviews.
There's no fixed scope on what I will write here, and I probably would go with whatever comes to my mind.
If you like to catch a glimpse of what is in my mind, or some of the adventures that we embarked in, do continue to keep a lookout for this space, and follow us on Instagram.
